RCA Televisions
RCA is one arm of the Thompson electronics group that includes Philips and Magnavox. Now owned by a Dutch firm, the original RCA Victor Company has roots in the history of electricity. Today, RCA makes a complete line of televisions using every conceivable display technology and can be counted among some of the most reasonably priced.
RCA TVs come in two sorts, RCA and the RCA Screnium line. RCA Screnium is their upper-end line that includes some very good-looking DLP rear-projection TVs. The RCA Screnium HDLP61W151 is the highest-end of the pack, a 61" DLP TV featuring a resolution at 1920X1080 and includes DVI input.
Some RCA TVs include a built in DVD player; this is a bad sign. Beware of integrated devices in any electronics. It's a sign of low quality if the manufacturer doesn't feel they can sell one device on its own merit. The DVD player is sure to be second-rate and, if it breaks or you hook up a better DVD player, you now have a piece of garbage forever attached to your TV.
