Plasma TV
Plasma television is a wildly popular fixed pixel display technology. The flat panel device makes Plasma TV a flexible display that can fit almost anywhere.
Plasma TV's display is made up of tiny fluorescent lights, and each pixel is actually made up of three separate fluorescent lights (red, green and blue). Electrodes behind the panel of fluorescent lights regulate proportions necessary to produce colors and images. The result delivers a bright display on plasma TV that looks equally spectacular when viewed from any angle.
Plasma TVs come in a range of sizes, and can be made incredibly large. Today, the largest available in general retail is up to 61" for the princely sum of $25,000. The technology is still very cost prohibitive for a picture that isn't necessarily better than technologies for half the price.
Prices of Plasma TV will keep dropping. If you're a cost-conscious consumer longing for a plasma TV in your living room just wait another year, as prices could fall to as much as half what they sell for today.
