Mitsubishi Televisions

Mitsubishi is an historic Japanese manufacturer of mechanical and electronic devices. Mitsubishi is well known as the manufacturer of the infamous Zero fighter plane from World War II. From their automobiles to televisions, Mitsubishi is renowned for some of the finest examples in their field.

Mitsubishi TVs have long been considered superior to just about everything available except rival high-end TV manufacturer Sony. Back when rear-projection TV sets were new, Mitsubishi was usually first to make the largest and longest-lasting examples of any new TV technology.
The cost is sure to be a little more but you can be assured the product will be of the finest build quality. Mitsubishi's analogue TVs have always been among the best, using natural phosphors in their picture tubes to reproduce deep rich colors.

Today, Mitsubishi makes the largest rear-projection CRT in mass production. The WL-82913 has an 82" picture and weighs in at an incredible 500 lbs. Mitsubishi also makes an array of flat panel TVs using the newest display technologies, including a 61" plasma display.
