Home Theater Focus Classic

Home Theater Focus Classic Intro

For whatever reason, these articles have been deemed outdated or otherwise no longer indicative of the latest information available, so we've added them to our HomeTheaterFocus classic information. In this ever-changing technology market space well have a lot of information that is no longer relevant but still interesting and could have some historic reference.

As an example, many of the articles offer prices that once made a good guide to see what you could afford, but they have changed significantly since the prices of last years technology falls off as prices drop. This is good for consumers as it means todays latest and greatest will be tomorrows discounted items. For pricing references its best to get the latest up-to-the-minute pricing by letting our sponsors compete for your Home Theater shopping dollars. Another example is Voom Media, a company that has ceased to exist entirely. Voom had a unique angle, letting consumers slide on feeding their network broadcast services to multiple TVs in the house without any extra fees. Then they even went with some HD news feeds and it seemed that maybe Voom Media had something unique to offer its customers and just enough interest to stay alive. None of these efforts proved enough to save Voom Media. April 7th 2005 was the day that the Cablevision board of directors agreed to end chairman Charles Dolans efforts to save Voom.
